Shredminder and Surfminder are independently focused sister sites under common ownership. Shred & Surf is reserved for a possible future umbrella or adjacent project.
Our role
We publish our own comparisons, collection history, and explanations. We are not a resort operator, NOAA, the National Weather Service, or an authorized spokesperson for those organizations. Links to their reports do not imply a partnership or endorsement.
Editorial standards
Sources, dates, limitations, and authorship should be visible. Automated conditions bulletins are identified as automated. We do not present synthetic imagery as a current photograph or an AI summary as firsthand reporting. Material corrections belong in the publication record.
Commercial transparency
Any future sponsored coverage or affiliate links must be identified where they appear. Commercial relationships must not silently change the source measurements or freshness labels.
Privacy
Saved destinations are stored on your device. Contact submissions and optional reply addresses are stored privately for editorial review. Do not include sensitive information in a correction. We do not display your email address publicly.
